This workshop introduces a CBL Canvas designed to help students navigate open-ended challenges in Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) through structured Mini-Challenges. Mini-Challenges provide a scaffolded approach to complex problem-solving, self-efficacy and reducing uncertainty. The CBL Canvas integrates Design Thinking principles and systematically guides learners through the Engage, Investigate, and Act phases. Participants will take part in a hands-on Mini-Challenge using the canvas and reflect on its applicability through the Think-Pair-Share method. By the end, they will gain practical insights into using the CBL Canvas as a visual inquiry tool to enhance students' self-efficacy and preparedness for real-world challenges in CBL.
